We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Technical Innovator for Global Payments Team) to be based in our subsidiary in Budapest, Hungary to start immediately.

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with critical thinking skills, a high degree of technical innovation, and a growth mindset. In this role, you will define technical capabilities and suggest the best solutions for building resilient, scalable, and highly available applications and services. You will integrate with global payment service providers, develop virtual wallet solutions, and ensure compliance with KYC requirements. Your work will support our e-commerce business, offering online payments with global coverage across over 50 countri

WHAT ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and maintain the user interface of web applications using technologies such as JavaScript, React, and TypeScript.
• Participate in system architecture discussions and provide "big picture" clarifications to ensure scalability and resilience.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end aspects, particularly with global payment service providers and virtual wallet solutions.
• Work closely with project management to align development with project goals, timelines, and regulatory requirements, including KYC compliance.
• Build reusable libraries and tools, adhering to best practices in software development to enhance efficiency and code quality.
• Proactively learn from team members and offer assistance to foster a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Engage in code reviews and contribute to the overall code improvement strategy to ensure high standards of code quality.
• Stay up to date with modern technologies and best practices in the industry to continuously improve and innovate.
• Ensure the development of scalable, highly available, and resilient applications that support our global e-commerce business operations across over 50 countries.
• Implement solutions for online payments with global coverage, ensuring integration with various payment service providers and adherence to industry standards.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years of experience in TypeScript/JavaScript or equivalent software development.
• Proficiency in React for building user interfaces.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across groups and functions.
• Motivation for constant improvement in performance, availability, and automation of applications.
• Customer-oriented attitude with a focus on user satisfaction.
• Experience working with cloud applications, with a preference for Azure.
• Willingness to work full-stack, handling both front-end and back-end tasks.
• Experience with .NET C# is a plus.
• Fluency in English (both written and oral).
